The Blue Acara is a beautifully marked cichlid. Its body is mottled brown with many electric blue spots throughout. These blue spots form lines on the mouth area giving them a distinctive look.

The Electric Blue Acara is an omnivore and should be fed a variety of foods, such as frozen or freeze-dried brine shrimp, bloodworms, blackworms, flake food, and Cichlid pellets.
